The best birthday present a girl could ask for? To be serenaded by a lovable Scottish singer-songwriter/DJ/producer on a beach somewhere tropical.
Well, this is close enough - the one and only Calvin Harris will be performing this weekend in my beautiful hometown of San Diego at 4th & B. The beach is only a few blocks away. Pretty close to perfect way to celebrate my birthday. And I know Calvin's got love for me, cause I was born in the 80's, the 80's.

The self-proclaimed creator of disco will be joined by our own Steve Aoki. Born in Miami but raised in the not-too-far town of Newport Beach (think "the OC"), Aoki is one of the few DJs out there who is famously sober. Also, betcha didn't know: Aoki's dad was an Japanese Olympic wrestler... and he founded the restaurant chain Benihana. Really.
