Game, Set, Match

If you've left your house in the past year, you've probably heard a rendition of Martin Solveig's "Hello," featuring Dragonette. The masterpiece is just the first of the many things to love about the Parisian, not least of which is this little gem I stumbled upon yesterday.

Combining two of my favorite things in the world - house music and tennis - is Martin Solveig's webseries SMASH. There's a lot to love here: the Wes Anderson-esque film style, Martin Solveig in general, his hilarious manager, and guest appearances by none other than Bob Sinclar and Novak Djokovic. Oh, and French subtitles. Episode 1 is below:

Dragonette appears herself in later episodes, along with Melanie Laurent (of Inglorious Basterds fame). She plays a Japanese chick. Uhhh... just watch it.

And since we're on the subject, the whole thing is one big promo for his upcoming album release of Smash. The third video serves as a sort of (adorable) behind-the-scenes for the making of the Ready 2 Go video. The song is pretty dance-worthy and features Kele of Bloc Party. Listen below:

And in case you missed his pre-Hello collabo with Dragonette, this is a tune worth noting:

So, you know, get into it! xxx.
